Beijing +15 overview and regional activities

The regional commissions as well as women’s organizations, coalitions, and networks are planning regional activities over the coming months to discuss achievements and setbacks regarding the twelve critical areas of concern as outlined in the Beijing Platform. In many of these meetings and conferences, an emphasis will also be placed on examining how the global financial crisis will impact achievements towards improving women’s rights.
